Connecting people and plants through education, discovery, research, and enjoyment of the natural and built landscape.
Since 1965, McCrory Gardens has been a beloved treasure, offering over 25 acres of formal display gardens and 45 acres of arboretum. Generations have come to admire its beauty and experience the joy of nature. Your gift during One Day for STATE helps carry this tradition forward while creating new ways for people to explore and enjoy the Arboretum.
Your support during One Day for STATE will help:
- Expand the Arboretum: Help make upcoming projects possible, including a 2.5K walking trail and a disc golf course that will give SDSU and the surrounding community new ways to experience the Arboretum.
- Strengthen Our Garden Crew: Contribute to the team that cares for 25 acres of formal gardens and provides the daily work needed to keep McCrory Gardens thriving.
- Create New Opportunities: Help bring future projects and ideas to life, expanding the ways people can explore, learn from, and enjoy this unique landscape.
- Enrich Community Learning: Sustain workshops, events, and educational programming that cultivate a love for plants and foster a deeper understanding of the natural world.
