"Agriculture is an ever-changing and evolving industry, where technology plays an exceptionally important role in shaping the future of agricultural practices." -Nicholas Uilk, Klingbeil Endowed Educator in Precision Agriculture
Supporting the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences through One Day for STATE will further our commitment to excellence in education, research, and community engagement by funding:
- Student Learning and Hands-On Opportunities: Provide resources that enhance students’ education through experiential learning, giving them practical skills to succeed in their fields.
- Travel and Professional Development: Support students’ travel to professional meetings and events — such as conferences for Ag Communicators of Tomorrow — helping them connect with peers, learn from industry leaders, and prepare for future careers.
- Enhanced Learning Environments: Contribute to improvements in facilities and learning spaces, ensuring students have access to high-quality environments that foster growth and innovation.
- Community Engagement: Facilitate connections with alumni and friends, strengthening relationships that benefit students and the college community.
Together, we can sustain and elevate our college, providing exceptional opportunities for students and ensuring a vibrant future for agriculture, food, and environmental sciences education at SDSU.
